55" or 60" Root Grapple EA vs MTL

Not much customer service needed after you buy the thing though. A grapple is a fairly simple piece of equipment. Like I said earlier, I have given MTL a bunch of money and have a lot of their attachments. No complaints. It is easier to get MTL by text a lot of times if you need.

yeah, If you only use it but to pick up a few sticks, you'll be fine with that cheap grapple But, If you really use it something is going to break.
And once you buy it. My bet if anything does happen to it. It's yours !

Very, very, very few TBN members are running grapples on a 105 HP tractor. Thank you for point out that EA grapples have problems. All grapples can have problems.

Guess I'm one of the few, and the proud to run one on a 105 hp tractor.

A bolt broke on my grapple. The thing is, I was taken care of. Excellent Customer service in a day and time where customer service is lacking !

Buy that cheap grapple and something happens. It's yours !

That could easily be heated up and bent back.

yeah, right.... Once the steel is bent it stretches. And now, where the steel is heated and bent back, It's even weaker at that point.

What experience do you have with non-EA grapples? What brand are they? I have 3 non EA grapples so I am speaking from experience. I consider myself a heavy user and none have failed. I am curious what your experience is with less co$$$$tly grapples.

owned a thumb grapple. It bent several times. I would love to put one of your grapples through the paces of my every day uses.
Only picking up tooth picks now and again and the cheapest grapple on the market should hold up.

Dig up a few of these for a week and post back how well your grapple held up

What is a thumb grapple and what brand was it? Was it rated for a 105 HP tractor? Pictures please or it did not happen. No sense anyone spending more than a person needs to and saying that an MTL Grapple can only pick up toothpicks is simply not credible.

LOL the thumb is the name of the grapple. the thumb wasn't on my 105. Just like the pictures of EA wicked with the big rocks aren't of my 105 either. they are of my 51 hp

I have shown you picks of what a EA grapple can do...Lets see pics of your MTL digging some of those large rocks out of the ground

No pictures of a damaged thumb grapple? Maybe it did not happen?

I do not have an MTL Grapple and I never said I did but I do know that your statements that an MTL can only pickup toothpicks is simply not credible. Come on now, be truthful.

That is a thumb on a bucket. Not a grapple. No story here.

so, you don't even own the grapple you claim is so good ? LOL. The way I use things, I would have a cheap grapple turned into scrap metal in a very short time

Ok, so you don't even own this MTL grapple you are touting as a good grapple. But you know what it can pick up ? LOL
Do you even own any grapple ?
I have shown pics of what an EA grapple can do. You haven;t posted what your grapples have done, nor what an MTL grapple has done because you don't even own the grapple you speak of...... WOW !

It might be a good idea to settle down and get some sleep given your time zone. I never said that I have an MTL grapple, but I did say that I have 3 grapples and none of them are EA, Also none of them have ever failed. I have posted grapple pictures in numerous threads. To reiterate, your thumb add-on to a bucket is not a grapple and you have no experience in non EA grapples (unless you can post a picture).

Also to reiterate, EA makes an excellent product, no doubt whatsoever. But does everyone need to spend that much money on a grapple just because other EA customers did? In my opinion, no they do not. Numerous other manufactures can make grapples that can pick up brush, logs, rocks or whatever. Members do not need to buy an EA grapple to do simple grapple work. They can save some money and that is my point.

so, I have a bucket grapple, and an EA grapple which I have posted pic of. You own 3 grapples with no pictures of them with any work involved.
Ok, big guy... I got ya now ! LMAO !

Guess you have never heard of a bucket grapple. You should educate yourself on them. Many are sold under the name bucket grapple
But for someone that owns 3 grapples with no pics should know that.. O' and one of the grapples you are saying is can do anything. You don't even own ! LOL

Nothing wrong with a bucket grapple, it is just not applicable in this thread which is about higher priced and better quality EA grapples vs lower priced but still good MTL grapples. If you want to search my posts you will find pictures of grapples, but it is not pertinent. My position is that money can be saved by many, many TBN members buying a lower cost grapple. You might have needed an EA grapple but not everyone does. Is it not awful late back there? Sleep is good.

I had a cheap grapple and I spent more time welding it back together than I did using it. That’s why I bought a good one the second time around. Even if you don’t break the grapple which isn’t that likely on the OPs smallish tractor the weight savings of the better constructed grapple would make a lot of difference.

What grapple is that, if you don’t mind? Thanks

My friend ordered his 55" Wicked Root Grapple last week, arrived yesterday afternoon (order to delivery time has greatly improved since they have moved to the new building) and he sent me a picture with it on his tractor ready to go to work with it.

so now, you call it a bucket grapple, where before it wasn't a grapple ? LOL do you even know what a grapple is ?
Search my post and you will find pics ?:laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing: I'm not going on a witch hunt that never happened.

Money can be saved on many cheap items vs more costly items. Why wast money on cheap, and have to but something that cost more when you break the cheap ?

Perhaps you should go buy an a grapple. Then, you will be able to post pics of you using your grapple:laughing::laughing:
