I barley keep a 3/32 rod lit with my everlast... tried 6010 and 6011, no difference. I'll take my transfomer machine any day over this everlast
If you're just learning to weld, you sure don't want a machine like this

Yours is broken. Mine welds great.
I got rid of my Lincoln AC225 after getting my Everlast PA 160

here is some 1/8 rod 125 amp welding.

Remind me which unit you have?
Don't hardly ever have any complaints. We sell to new guys learning all the time. They don't seem to have issues. But guys who trained on transformers trying to long arc do have problems sometimes as they have to unlearn things that have led them to be lazy with the arc length.

3/32 6011 needs at least 50 amps, should run good on 70-90. I think starts easier on DC-R but I think the puddle spreads out better on AC.

Mine welds great too. I still have my Lincoln but the Everlast has taken it's receptacle.

My Lincoln has it's own receptacle, it's a Weld and Power.:D

Same here, my Lincoln AC 225A buzz box hasn't been plugged in since I got the Everlast PowerArc 200sti setup. I have had no issues with it running various sizes and types of rod (3/32nds to 5/32nds 6010, 6011, 6013, 7014 and 7018).
