I have cameras around my house and can see all of them at night if one looks. See all those IR LED's

I buy nothing but black flash cameras now;critters seem to notice the infa-reds.

I've got two stealth cams that I am not at all impressed with. The fresh fully charged batteries didn't last 4 months.

Around the house I have an eight camera system that I am very happy with.

A friend set up a couple at his hunting cabin. There was something about these two cameras that REALLY attracted the wildlife. He would get good pics of the bear - closer & closer. Then a whole lot of pics of noses and paws. He usually found the two on the ground - quite near the tree they were originally attached to.

With infa-red;they are noticeable by people,coyotes and deer(deer aren't suppose to see red) ,older deer really seem spooked by them.
The black flash are a little more limited on range at night but don't spook anything and are invisible to humans.I run my cameras on video and they(Brownings) have take thousands of 20 second videos before depleting the the batteries(lithium).I leave mine out for six months at a time and pull in the spring.Check out camera reviews at www.chasinggame.com.

What game camera do you have and do you like it?

My goal is critter identification in the yard. Do I buy a $75 Browning that's 12 or 14 MP or spend $150 and go from there?

About a month ago my secretary knowticed on a site called SnagShout or something like that that Maginon WK30-HD
game trail camera's where like $16 each . I had her order 2 . Works good for what i needed it for . These are my first game cams i ever messed with , so i cant compair them to other brands . In this neck of the woods people seem to use a lot of Moultries .........................
