RNG, funny...wonder if Neato was a cousin of hazel? Good luck in your search

Drew, be careful in your travels...get home safe.

Randy, sounds like you had a very eventful day! Definitely have to get those 20's off if your going to keep her. Had a '76 Monte Carlo. It was a dog power wise, but loved the body style w/ the long nose.

Not mine with the 20s.

Hopefully he will check in here.

Riptides last Post was #70051 on 2/6/18. Day before they left for NYC.

Pretty productive day, by my standards, anyway. I took the dogs for a walk, between snow squalls. I got a bit done at the wife's shop, then back home. Tomorrow is lunch with the olde guys, then more work at the shop.

Have a good one!!

I hope Rip’s wife is well, Ed, hope Mom is doing better.

Picked up the Monte Carlo, took most of the day for some reason. It’s only about 55 miles each way.
Had to visit with my closest friend for a while, then promptly forgot to pick up my grandson from school!
Apparently he thought it was cool to hang out with his buddies in the after school program for those who aren’t picked up until parents get off work.

Glad you made it home ok Drew.

I just got home from work, started snowing on way home. Got a dusting already. Was 48° at work this afternoon, 38° when i left, and temps dropped the whole way home.

I'll hold off on searching for RIP. He doesnt live too far from me. Think i might know where he lives, or else it's another TBNer.

Good evening all. 33F at the start this morning in STL, overcast and light fog. Sky finally starting to clear about 1:30 or 2 PM and high temp did make it to 48F. Saturday's trip was uneventful, Sunday had about 3 or 4 inches of snow, fun driving :) . Made it to work to finish consulting project, had lunch with both brothers dinner with granddaughter and wife and stepson.
It was fun catching up from just Saturday, maybe Rip is overwhelmed at catching up for a month :)

Prayers for all especially Ed and his mom.

Well, i did find Dons place on google maps, lol. I'll leave it at that, but the compass doesn't lie...

Another case solved...

Opps, the wind blew the tarp off the compass!
Not enough shade on it, lol. But you can see the tree stump shadow.

That is some lane you have.

Where is the infamous bridge? Im assuming to the east of the house.

I found Drews place a few months ago. Overhead shot then showed someone on a tractor working in the drunk neighbors field.

There used to be a guy on here from Maine. Got upset at some people and stopped posting. Found his place once, but he gave me some help.
Also found Obeds place once in TN And peters house in the woods in va.
Will look for the cider mill sometime, lol.

If you look for me, im on the front porch waving at the streetview camera.

isn't that getting into the "you've got to be kidding me" category by now Roy?

there were a few wilted plants when I got home, not too bad. 22 trays, 32 plants in each. Plus another four trays of zinnias, they need to get planted but we are still having
freezing nights. Maybe the end of this week. Until then not real warm here, though if sunny and 50 I'll be outside.

Yeah, I am to that point... 3 nor'easters in three weeks...

But, you talk to some of the old timers here in Vermont...this wasn't untypical years back.

Good morning. It finally stopped raining sometime in the night. There are so many hollows filled with water in the fields that at least I won't have to worry about filling water troughs for a while. Warmed up to 5C/41F and with little wind for change this could be the first day this year without my ears wanting to be hidden beneath a hat.

So sad to read that tragic ending for poor Neato. He surely deserved more than a single star.

Seriously though, why would anyone let a machine roam around at the top of stairs ? All too easy for one of the human occupants to unexpectedly trip over and come to grief themselves.

36, breezy and cloudy, now our warm up next week seems to have vanished with temps about 10° below normal. Had snow showers overnight. Washed clothes last night, how exciting! Needed to ask Ellen something, ended up talking an hour and 15 minutes. Mostly about wheels and paint schemes. LOL She wants to learn to run the front end loader. Gotta love that. Dinner this weekend and day trip next week.
Have brave MVA today, I’d rather fight a bear. Found out with historic tags the Monte will cost $70.90 a year for a $10000 full coverage 0/50/500 deductibles stated value policy. Not sure I can afford that!
