Flat tire, tube not leaking

I'm a "hoarder", at least that's what my wife says. Next time I was in town I'd buy a new tube. Next time it goes flat I'd replace the tube and keep the old one for emergencies adding to the hoarding syndrome that my wife claims exists. Not sure where she gets that idea.....

And what would you do with the old tube put it back in at a later date ? or cut it up and use the rubber for something else:confused3: My boss saves old starter and alternators I don't no why no core charge. junk from the salt

Repurpose of course. Air it up large and see how many kids/adults can pile on for downhill sledding. I thought everyone knew that....

Keep it and you will never need it, throw it away and you will be looking for it tomorrow.
Here is a trick I have used for years, inflate the tire, then put some spit on the valve. If you get a bubble, there is a valve leak, if not, you are good to go.
