Put another 83cc topend on it yesterday and updated the impulse line etc. Test cuts were good 28" LGX

No problems here keeping wild things running for folks. All in tuning and fuel lines. Most of them have problems with operators not knowing how to tune and fix lines and keeping a chain sharp.
Only thing I dont care for on the oem wild things = No AV
A 1 owner I am going through right now. Going to update the tank and air filter to the 505 set up. 1991 and appears to be low hurs on it.
Trying to decide to leave it 65cc or go to 71cc or 77cc before putting back together.

Just finished going through checking it and replacing pulley e-clip, plug, recoil bolt. Was all I could find to make it right again.

Where are you finding these saws? Pretty much every saw on Craig's lost around here the owner is asking darn near new prices. I'd like to find one good larger saw for the occasional big cherry trees that windfall on our property. But I don't want to spend $500 on a used saw. I'm still on my first Poulan 42cc saw for about $129 factory reconditioned. It's worked well for almost 10 years. I could by 3 more plus accessories for the price of one used larger saw around here.

Most folks paying darn near new prices on used saws these days LOL

Yep. Especially lower end stihls like 290 and 310 variants, or the box store huskys.
