Kioti filter cross reference number list (all models)

I don't think Kioti would admit that the donaldson filter is equal or better than theirs. What would happen if the hst would fail and Kioti saw this filter being used, would they honor their guarantee?

My brand new 2015 NX4510H came with a Donaldson air filter in it. It would be really hard to say "no warranty" since it came with one in it and I replaced it with another one just like it. Oil filter conversion for the E6201-32443 is an AC PF9. I bought 10 of these on EBay for $41.50 delivered. They fit perfect and are a cross-reference to the Kioti filter.

Does anyone have the Baldwin fuel filter number for the Kioti F6800-16411?

Here are the Baldwin numbers for the NX4510HST tractor. I have yet to find the large hydraulic filter made elsewhere.

BT9464 Hydraulic small filter

BF5587 Screw-on Fuel Filter. There is a note saying not to use the water sensor in it.

B173-S oil filter + AC Delco PF9

RS3542 Air Filter

Anyone have issues with the Napa 3507? The inside hole is the right size but the outside diameter of the filter itself is just a bit to big to seat properly.

I did a filter change on my DK40HSE yesterday and the Donaldson P573481 is physically identical to the Kioti gold filter and the tractor functions exactly as it should when I did a test drive.

hydraulic: Wix 57098 = daedong T2185-38031 and HST: Wix 57350 = T2195-38031

Are we sure of these Wix filters in these applications? I just checked the Wix website for my CK30HST and that machine isn't even listed. When I tried its twin - the Bobcat CT230 - no filter was listed for either the HST or the hydraulics. I would figure if these filters were correct, they would be listed on the Wix website by now.

The Donaldson P573481 filter appears identical in shape to the T4125-38021. Both sealing surface diameters are the same. In particular the one I was questioning before I purchased the Donaldson filter was the internal O-ring that should seal over the protruding tube of the tractor filter housing, which is does. The only visual difference, other than color, is the internal metal mesh pattern. The T4125-38021 has many small round holes where oil passes through. The Donaldson has many rectangular slits that are laid out in a spiral where oil passes through. This tells us that the internal media is different. One thing to note, these two different filters I'm comparing were purchased 2 years apart from each other. (manufacturing may or may not have changed). According to Donaldsons website, this P573481 filter has an 11 micron synthetic media, which is on par for the application. I found no information about relief pressures. I'm not certain they even have an internal relief valve at all. They may not need one, as the tractors HST has its own. Something that could be worth looking into or debating to be sure of. But having said that, there is nothing magical about the daedong HST. The Donaldson P573481 is used widely in Caterpillar machinery within similar systems of equal pressures and fluids. And the filter fits my Kioti quite nicely. I Installed the P573481 in my 2014 DK45 12 running hours ago. No abnormalities thus far. Though I still think their is value in further research. Now If we could just cross reference that T5710-38031....

Just to follow up on my experience with the P573481 on my DK40, I'm probably 10-15 hours in and can't identify any noticeable difference in the operation of my tractor.

I decided to use "Traveller Premium Universal Tractor Trans/Hydraulic Fluid" from tractor supply. $35 per 5 gallon bucket. I was satisfied after reading the specifications. My tractor history is telling of my decisions. Note that my engine oil choices were based off sales at wallyworld or napa at the time, I pledge allegiance to no one, so long as the standards are met and oil changed reasonably on time. I will say, though, that I prefer Wix filters if purchasing many at a time from Fleetfilter.com. I have 15 different engines around the house, I'll by 3 filters for each engine at a time and the price is WAY under what you'd find buying a wix by itself from amazon, Napa, or what have you. If not buying in bulk from fleetfilter, its not worth it. I've cut open many filters to see the quality, and wix is at the top with a number of others. I recall the original filters that came off my Kioti were top notch as well, having cut them in half. Metal caps, antidrainback valves, good looking media. I think this is very telling of Kioti.

First place I confirmed the Kioti T4125-38021 HST filter had a cross reference was through cummins/fleetguard crossreference website here

Just plug in the kioti number, and it will tell you that Hitachi is the manufacturer of the filter along with Hitachi's cross reference #T412538021 and fleetguard #HF35519. With those two numbers you can cross reference to the others I've listed on the spreadsheet through their respective websites. The Donaldson filter seems to be the easiest to find and purchase, and they are a reputable company.

If I had to shoot from the hip, I'd say that Daedong/Kioti gets them through donaldson, as they already deal with them for their air filter assemblies, and Donaldson gets them made by Hitachi. But I dont really know this, and is pure speculation.

Some say, well why not just buy the $110 HST filter for the $25,000~ machine you just purchased, 60 more dollars is a small price to pay for piece of mind and certainty, and I understand that. Another might sarcastically say, good for you, buy the snake oil Gold lined magic daedong filter that prevents rust in the daedongs one of a kind ultra tight toleranced supermega galactic HST. But for me, personally, I try to ride in the middle somewhere. Question everything. Question why Daedong charges so much for the filter, where it comes from, Question the dealership if something they say sounds strange, they can make mistakes too, Question this very post and the information I've provided, question it all and share your findings.

I have called Donaldson's customer service. They said that the Donaldson P573481 is made by Hitachi, and is a good cross-reference to the kioti T4125-38021 HST filter. That's a $60.00 savings.
