A friend of mine works for OSHA in California (Occupational Safety Health.) I asked him about your question.

First, he asked if the hitch ball for your trailer properly placarded? It should have a placard notifying any user that the ball includes metal that could possibly cause cancer if touched. (California prop 65.) If it does not, immediately discard and get an OSHA-approved ball. Same for the drawbar, which also requires a second placard notifying the user that anything attached to the drawbar, if it also connected to a tractor, could result in injury, dismemberment, or death.

The loaded tires are a violation. Unless you have a certificate from the manufacturer, this is an unapproved tractor, wheel, and tire modification possibly hazardous to people, barn animals, and more. He also asked if you have a spill containment system to catch the fluid in case of puncture. The containment system is required by statute when parked and also when operating.

OK, enough poking fun. I want to express appreciation for the OP's focus on safety. Tractors are great tools but are also hazardous. Sometimes a new perspective brings a safety awareness none of us thought about. His post might just save a life or someone's limbs in the future. Good job. Sometimes the little things can sneak up and bite!

Didn't watch the video... but semi truck tires (100+ psi) blowing out vs tractor tires (10 - 20 psi) is a huge difference in velocity and stored energy. Highly unlikely that a tire at 15 psi in reasonably good condition will just "blow out"....

A guy was working on his car and the jack gave out. The frame came down on him and his wife called 911. One of my buddies responds and lifts the car off him and the wife pulls him free. Accidents can happen. The car should have been blocked instead of relying on the jack alone.

The deputy was disciplined for lifting the car as he could have injured himself. Yes seriously.

I did have a tire spontaneously explode once or twice (sort of).
The first was a bicycle tire I'd inflated outdoors and brought inside.
The 2nd was
I once loaded a wagon running gear up with some big cherry logs and parked it at a neighbors saw mill. I think I had extra pressure in the tires as the load was heavy, I had a few miles to go at road speeds and I knew it might sit at his place for awhile until he got around to making lumber and I didn't want them going soft.
Well it sat there for close to a year. But one day he heard what sounded like a cannon going off next to his mill.
They were very old tires. Probably many decades.
It was also "sap" weather . Cool nights, sunny warm days. I suspect the repeated wide variation of pressure through the day, day after day, snapped the last belt holding the tire together. So yes, there are 31.5million seconds in a year, if you,d been under that wagon during the one it blew out you'd be saying "What, I can't hear anymore."

I've had 2 tires blow out in a shed. 1 on a skidsteer and 1 on an air compressor. Both looked visibly fine before hand. I figure if I'm under something or beside something and the tire blows out and kills me then that is just my time to go. We will all go one day, we just need to know where it is we're going!

I've had cars, trucks, tractors and trailers for over 50 years. In that time I've had one blow-out. That was a 20 year old trailer tire that I had retired and it was sitting in the shed. So I would say that chance of a tire blowing out while you are under a vehicle is incredibly small.

putting jack stands under vehicles is good but what if....the sliding adjustment gave away? got to keep all the what ifs in the back of your mind and try to be as safe as possible when doing any kind of work. one of my what ifs is...a lug nut falling of a airplane flying overhead..

Don't forget about the possibility of a sink hole opening up while you're under the tractor and getting crushed or buried.

I have had my hydro tractor creep a little bit when I had my foot close to the front of the tire. I caught it in time but I would hate to be stuck with my foot jammed under a tire and all I have with me is a rusty jackknife.

Why is your Jacknife rusty? Keep it sharp and keep it clean.

If the OP's tires are loaded and he had a blowout while under the tractor, he is as likely to be drowned as to be crushed. As for lug nuts falling from airplanes...I think the more common falling object risk from commercial aircraft is blue ice blocks... a pisser for sure to have the bad luck to be hit by one of those.

Ah the infamous blue ice bombings of old but I think they all have to use holding tanks these days. Part of servicing aircraft between flights is to pump out the holding tanks. Yeah it's probably a pretty ****** job. Kinda like getting the greenhorns to blow out the relief tubes on aircraft back when.

Yeah, like that guy on the news couple years ago. Sinkhole opened under the house and the bedroom floor caved in, he was sleeping in the bed, went in the hole, never recovered the body!!!

I'm not neurotic about things like this, but will admit that one kinda got to me. I can't live like that.....
