Happy Anniversary Mr & Mrs Jackson and many more.

   / Good morning!!!! #53,112
spent several hours elbow deep in grease, taking the wheels and parts off the Gravely mower I'm renovating. It warmed up enough today to be quite nice working in the barn.
Then back to the house to find that I can't leave the garage door open at all, even for a couple of hours. Blankety blank squirrels came in the garage and munched right into a new bag
of bird seed. I'll pick up a metal can tomorrow.

Drew - you need some blacksnakes and cats.

Drew - you need some blacksnakes and cats.

my blacksnake is down at the barn. And way too many squirrels. Very bold...and wreck my birdfeeders.
Maybe it's time to oil up the BB gun and send out the Disinviting Committee. I could probably sit right out on the porch on my rocker and they would go for the
feeders. 5 pumps instead of ten and a shot to the rear; just love the way they leap up in the air. And head back from whence they came. But not for long...
btw, I never shoot an animal on the ground, only on the feeder. They are welcome to anything on the ground.
I won't hit them with anything harder; they don't know that feed isn't for them. I'm sure I'm just their best man, the man with the goods.
But unfortunately I don't speak squirrel. Is there an app for that?

My drilled well (176' deep) cost me $12,000.oo complete into the house + $4,000.oo for the water softener, so 16 grand total in 2011. So to date my never ending supply of water has cost me $3,200.oo/year and that price goes down every year that I do nothing with the well other than use the water. The water softener costs me 3 40lb bags of rock salt/year. I don't think I am doing too bad as far as water is concerned.

After 30 years we would have paid the same for household water. If irrigation is used a well would make the breakeven point a lot sooner.

Now Sir I have it on good authority from my vast studies at the Kubota Medical College
that using your tractor is excellent therapy. So good in fact that you should just ignore those
other little niggling details. Maybe stay off the interstate for a while but your Kubota is calling.
You know it won't start if you leave it alone too long. Tell your wife that when you make that required
maintenance ride. One needs a variety of stories/err. explanations for one's wife.
Not enough seat time is like not enough something else. That's a good one.
Try all this out and let us know how it works out Roy.

I'm gonna get a bag of coal at this rate...:D

Both wife and I get flu shot.

Another member of the bar oil club here.

Me too. Stihl MS250.
I actually had to stop and study the thing a few minutes after the second or third time of spilling oil to learn how to close it to keep the oil from leaking.
It definitely can be done wrong easily!

I never had a problem closing mine.

OK, one of you oil hogs, please post a pic of the problem. I can't figure out what is so difficult about replacing the oil cap after filling it up. You can't all be that old and forgetful.
