Coffee has been poured. 66° with scattered clouds. Heading to 89° with high humidity. CPL class went well. Found out that even though I am right handed. Shooting left handed puts a group of marks within 4" at 10 yards. Right handed will gets 1 or 2 off the target every time. Need to do some checking on why this is happening. Lawn cutting today. Rain is forecast for rest of week.

64 this morning and headed to 94 today.

Started bailing hay yesterday. Have around 55-60 acres down. 10-12 left to cut but with rain in forecast it's not going down until this is up. Spent Saturday sick with a stomach bug. Both wife and I. Sunday recovery. Then yesterday waiting on dad to get here with the bailing tractor. Managed to get about 25 rolls up before dark.

Will spend the dry part of the day in the hay field. The wet parts in the chicken coops.

Good morning! 73˚ heading to mid 90s˚, partly cloudy. I'm getting excited, we are expecting the temperature to drop into the 60s in the morning starting next Tuesday!!!!! That is when Summer is over for me.

Today is weed eater day with the blade. I've given up on the county to mow my road. The weeds on the side of the road are 10' high down by the creek and touch the side of the truck, it's like driving in a tunnel. I won't weed eat that part, just the part on either side my drive so I can see approaching vehicles.

Sadamo, good photo, say hi to my cousins on the other side of the wall. Those were the ones that came to Texas to get married in our back yard.

Don, the county has been lax on our ditch mowing too. We have a new commissioner. I wonder if their budgets have been chopped due to oilfield crash?

Farmer, it's no fun taking care of kids when both parents are sick. Get well soon.

My little tractor almost bounces off the thick tall grass and weeds. Akin to Joe vs. the volcano. I did manage to get about 4 acres done under a post oak canopy where the grass is not quite as thick.

Good Morning all. Just waiting for transport to arrive, then another 20 lambs can be away to market. 50 lambs have been weaned off their mothers for a few days now, with only one field keeping them all apart, so expected to hear a lot of blarting going on into the night. Instead it has all been quiet, all quite happy with the separation. When I was at school we had a really strict but nice man for German lessons - Herr Brundt was his name. If we had slipped an extra "l" in with our "Guten Morgen", he would have had a major fit. Guess nowadays that would be diagnosed as gluten intolerance
