Got the presentation for work completed, as far as I could go...about 90% completed.

Also got down to the field and put about 100 or so rounds through my two Ruger 10/22 rifles and that SR22 I bought a month or so back. If anyone recalls, I was shooting down and to the right, which I attributed to trigger discipline (lack of, actually). This time was improved, but I'm still pulling a bit to the right.

Nice day, all told...and a great weekend!

We say till 9, but most left before dark at 8.
Was a nice day, low 80's
Before the partyi mowed, did some trimming, finished mowing a little of the field i didnt get the other night, swept garage again, put up volleyball net, popups, etc...
Im tired. But a good day.

Great Labor Day weekend, but now it's time to go back to work...

Addendum:
We got through our AS 9100 audit...AS 9100 being for the aerospace industry. It was a tough week and I am glad it's over! Some auditors use common sense...not ours. Dealt with him last year. He's one of those guys looking to write non-conformances, rather they made sense or not. I hope this A-Hole never returns to our company.

Just waiting for transport to arrive, then another 20 lambs can be away to market. 50 lambs have been weaned off their mothers for a few days now, with only one field keeping them all apart, so expected to hear a lot of blarting going on into the night. Instead it has all been quiet, all quite happy with the separation.

Gluten Morgen 52ｰF here in Berlin ...

When I was at school we had a really strict but nice man for German lessons - Herr Brundt was his name. If we had slipped an extra "l" in with our "Guten Morgen", he would have had a major fit. Guess nowadays that would be diagnosed as gluten intolerance

Good morning all, 58 this morning going to 89 and sunny. The crew is coming to put the siding on the shop today. No one old me what time but I assume it will be early. Hope it is as I need to do some errands and wife won't be happy if I leave with the crew here, even though one of the guys will likely be her uncles grandson. She has a VERY large family and likely has never met him. She has way over 100 first cousins.

Roy glad you made it through the audit, I assume you will not have to worry about that for another year.

Eric I would bet you were a little rascal when you were little, me? I was a little angel. :liar:

58F cloudy upper 70's for high.
All in all last 3 days were good...better than good,now its just about time thinking of but yet another new college year...fingers cross this shall be my last.

Birds doing number on Mrs. sunflowers seeds,could this be sign of early winter.

Coffee has been poured. 66° with scattered clouds. Heading to 89° with high humidity. CPL class went well. Found out that even though I am right handed. Shooting left handed puts a group of marks within 4" at 10 yards. Right handed will gets 1 or 2 off the target every time. Need to do some checking on why this is happening. Lawn cutting today. Rain is forecast for rest of week.

64 this morning and headed to 94 today.

Started bailing hay yesterday. Have around 55-60 acres down. 10-12 left to cut but with rain in forecast it's not going down until this is up. Spent Saturday sick with a stomach bug. Both wife and I. Sunday recovery. Then yesterday waiting on dad to get here with the bailing tractor. Managed to get about 25 rolls up before dark.

Will spend the dry part of the day in the hay field. The wet parts in the chicken coops.

Good morning! 73˚ heading to mid 90s˚, partly cloudy. I'm getting excited, we are expecting the temperature to drop into the 60s in the morning starting next Tuesday!!!!! That is when Summer is over for me.

Today is weed eater day with the blade. I've given up on the county to mow my road. The weeds on the side of the road are 10' high down by the creek and touch the side of the truck, it's like driving in a tunnel. I won't weed eat that part, just the part on either side my drive so I can see approaching vehicles.

Sadamo, good photo, say hi to my cousins on the other side of the wall. Those were the ones that came to Texas to get married in our back yard.

Don, the county has been lax on our ditch mowing too. We have a new commissioner. I wonder if their budgets have been chopped due to oilfield crash?

Farmer, it's no fun taking care of kids when both parents are sick. Get well soon.

My little tractor almost bounces off the thick tall grass and weeds. Akin to Joe vs. the volcano. I did manage to get about 4 acres done under a post oak canopy where the grass is not quite as thick.
