I know it has a different spelling, but there's also an Iraan Texas.
One night we were in Uncertain Texas, when the town was formed they weren't sure if it was in Texas or Louisiana.

Well, I've been to Iraan many times and also to Uncertain a few times but I've never been to Mobettie, Texas. I saw that TSCRA was having a Ranch Gathering there recently but I just couldn't make it.

Initially called Congreve Station, this location was a stop on the Texas and New Orleans Railroad in the early 1860s. The name for the town came from the influx of people due to the discovery of oil in the early 1900s (similar to the gold strikes at Nome, Alaska), hence the name became Nome in 1903.[4] Although rice farming would still be the foremost activity of the town, the discovery of natural gas and oil would create a new industry for the region in 1936. Bernice, you got a really nice machine. At work, they have it's big brother. A 27 hp model with the bigger 7 iron deck. I love those lights.
