Geez ... I just looked outside ... a snot load more oak leaves down all over the yard ... will it ever end ?

Managed to fill up all the bird feeders last evening before I called it quits ...

Tweety is already on it ... about 4 or 5 finches on on the Nyjer feeders and a woodpecker on the suet feeder ... stocking up for the big blow I guess.

35 this morning and headed to 44 today. What a lovely day. But I have repairs to make in chicken coup. It's only 85 in there.

No wood for the stove. Cold house in the morning?

With this foam house it takes a few days to chill, still 69˚ in the house. I have to get colder to get enthused about harvesting/hauling firewood.

My ambiance days are over I just light the wood to keep warm now.

I'm still waiting for the leaves to change color and then a month before they all fall.

It did get down to 35˚ below the hill.
