HB BR. Nice cake! I like the way the no icing part looks like freshly plowed dirt, neat idea, I may borrow that. We had a 30 years water of volleyball 2014 end of season party yesterday. All 19 people in our current players group came. We were about 3 weeks late with the ending party and the pool water had gotten too cool to play but there was plenty food and good company. 3/4" rain last night and looking dark to the south, More to come? Kyle, looks like you are getting hit now.

Don that was a great tasting cake. !!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY Toodddddddddddd.

We got 3 and a quarter inches of rain today. More suppose to come tomorrow. Both ponds are full. The island duck pond should overflow tonight. Both are down about 2 inches from overflow now. My catfish feeding ring is half under water (short rope to anchor) and the little red eared slider I named, Number One, was sitting on it.

The ducks are so happy, they quit feeding and followed me around the pond for a nice, post rain walk.
Life is good if you are patient.
Thanks for the rain, God.
Lou, thanks for the water bucket offer, but I'm good now.
hugs<<><><>>Brandi

Got back to ranch, from Houston, about 2 pm and had almost 2 1/2" in three gauges.

Made the mistake of taking the Corvette into Houston Tuesday morning. Dodged all the storms until this morning when I left Westchase office headed to meeting near BW8 and 290. It was raining cats, dogs, pigs, and cows. Managed to stay out of the deepwater ponding on roads. Was glad to get it back to the ranch.

Agree Brandi! Usually have my F-350 KR when I go to Houston. Taking Corvette, this week, was a brain fart at best.

By the way, it just started raining here again. A little over 4" in 10 days. Nothing between mid June and 10 days ago.

Congrats on the new feed store, Foreman

Happy day. Started the day off with rain, and ending it with yet another storm. Long day at work in between.

Great news that you guys down south are getting" a good soaking. Yesterday afternoon we got a lot of big puffy (Cumulus?) clouds that started turning dark..........but not a drip to drop.

Forman- Good Luck with the Feed Store. You will be fine because I know you will give it a lot of BS&T.

Another .75 inches today. More rain expected tonight. Now the question is whether it will be too wet to mow tomorrow.

Had my coffee this am. Some very slight drizzle a couple of times.
Wifey's birthday today. She wanted steaks for her party, so I bought a whole beef tenderloin at Readfield meats in Bryan Texas. I haven't had a good steak in over a year. Hopefully I don't botch them. Was planning to cook them on the grill, but the drizzle and mosquitoes are trying to change my mind. Probably broil them inside. Wrapped them in bacon. Got 15 steaks out of the tenderloin.

Watching A&M play football right now. Looks like they have to play against the officials too so far.

We've only had about .33" of rain this month. It's just hot and dry, although a few clouds. For steaks, we buy ribeyes at Sam's Club. I sprinkle them with KC Masterpiece BBQ Seasoning and cook them on the grill. Fortunately, our grill is on the breezeway patio so it's under cover.

And Happy Birthday to your wife, Kyle!
