Should be able to order chains soon. Last I checked, tire chains.com only had the duo grips left in my size. Still on the hunt for a decent used 60" blower for the back.

You are smart getting chains. Call Grunders in Torrington, CT. They have used tractor stuff from time to time.

Congrats on the new to you machine. I use both a front blower and an angle plow for snow removal and haven't found the need for chains on my 2620. The front blower helps to pull the unit along with the augers . While plowing you have to occasionally keep the wheel cranked to one side or the other to help offset the plow's pressure to move the tractor.
I have loaded rear tires as well. During the winter I remove the BH as it makes the front end a bit light which doesn't help with the steering.

For this winter I'll be keeping the trusty old Big Red around. She comes in around 6k-7k lbs with all the weights and cab/loader/etc on her so I have a way to handle the big stuff if I don't find a blower in time.

Getting used to the backhoe. Used it to dig out and remove the cracked septic tank riser yesterday. Also got my Ratchet Rake put on. Works very well!

Now to get those pictures of the thumb uploaded.....

I bump the throttle with my hand. It is stiff but not a problem.

I have a 5 foot rear snowblower. It handles it well.

I have loaded rear R4s. No chains yet
So far so good.
