Slow night for you. ;) Very nice. If you want to swap your round-pin connector with an RV-style, here's a good one:
Hopkins™ Endurance™ Multi-Tow® Connector - Tractor Supply Co.

I've been curious as to the purpose of the various extra threaded bolt holes in that plate that you have your hand on. I've assumed the plate is primarily to shield the windshield washer fluid reservoir. The dealer didn't know; perhaps they are for some accessories required in Europe. I see you've made good use of it to mount the brake light and trailer connector.

Above it and to the left is the Slow Vehicle sign's mounting bracket. There is an unused molded connector adjacent to it, stubbed out on a few inches of cable. Any idea what that's for? Maybe an amber warning beacon? I haven't checked it for power.

Believe it or not, both are Kioti accessories. No instructions. The trailer harness is self-explanatory as is part of the rear brake light kit. .

That unused wire by the SMV sign is for a beacon warning light.

well, guys - typical European trailer connector...maybe 5 bucks in an autoshop over here any help needed, just holler :)

Yes, there are much less expensive 7-pin RV-style connectors available in the U.S. as well. The one I linked to is spendy, but especially robust, and has an integral bracket that can mount directly to the side of a vertical surface, as in Eric's installation. I just thought it would be more appropriate for Eric's tricked-out tractor!

That is a nice connector, it does 7 blade, 4 and 5 flat. I got this one to put on my tractor.

Amazon.com: Hopkins Towing Solutions 48480 Endurance 7-Way Tow Vehicle End Socket: Automotive

Hopkins makes good stuff. In fact if you ever need to make your own wiring looms, use the Hopkins brand loom protector. It is much better quality than anybody else's out there.

Anyway, for those NX owners who buy Kioti's no instruction brake light, I've attached page 12-85 out of the service manual so you know where to mount the brake light switch. Not stated on that page, the kit's relay gets installed to the immediate right of the flasher in the open socket in the fuse box. The kit also includes a 20 amp fuse that is baffling since there is a already a 10 amp fuse in the brake light socket on my NX6010.

Today I mounted a pair of trailer light brackets that I cut down to size, drilled to fit, painted, and then oven-baked the paint on.

You can get a sense of how I plan to mount side-facing 18w LED lights with the brackets.

I also received the step-down voltage regulator today and so I hard-wired it in and tested it by measuring 6.06 volts. Sadly, my 600 TV line camera didn't work (swapped video ins and cables and it was still a no-go). Disgusted, I gave up on that project because I need to get moving along and I already have a rear-facing camera (with lines), and so I started doing something different: namely putting things back together.

Tonight I spent time just trying to find 6x1x40mm cap screw bolts at three different stores to no avail and so I came home with 1/4-20 cap screw bolts to be used to hold down my 3rd function subplate to the mounting bracket. I did work on the mounting bracket and so out came my tap and die set.

And because the city house's 26' x 24' garage is space-challeneged, the fence that hides my trash cans became my work bench yet again!

The plate is now all fabbed up with two coats of paint curing waiting for the oven treatment tonight.

You sir, have some darn nice tools! I envy that Mac set!

However, you really need to throw some dirt on that tractor. It just doesn't look right. :D

About two seconds after I shot this photo test fitting of my custom mounting plate, I realized I had the thing upside down. My whole day kind of went that way. Something NX owners may want to take a look at on their own tractors as they have time, is that I noticed the hose running under the 3PT rate of drop shaft is rubbing quite a bit on something. I will install some type of guard on the hose before I assemble everything

Once things start to come together, it seems relatively simple, but that defies the time and money spent puzzling out how to do it and what to use.

The custom hose shop closed for the weekend, and so I covered up the subplate for the weekend.

One thing I've learned is that there isn't a good way to estimate hose lengths unless you use another (too long) hose as a gauge. Hose-wise, the hard part will be figuring out how and where to route to QDs on the loader. With the fuel tank on the left side and the joystick valve on the right, things are pretty tight.

Since my hose shop closed, weather permitting, I plan to pull the cab cap off and wire in my new LED lights this weekend.

Boy, isn't that true! I can spend hours planning and completing a project, then think: If I were to do that again, I could do it in a tenth the time, and it would be twice the fun. Almost makes you want to trick out another NX series tractor, doesn't it, if you could find someone who has one. Oh, wait, I have an idea...;)

Question for you on pulling the left interior fender cover. Is there a trick for removing the knob on the range selector lever? Looks like a friction fit to me, but I didn't want to pull too hard and screw something up, like my shoulder.

Let's first see what my result is before we talk about that. :)

The knobs. That was my 4th complaint that I spaced off in my what was Kioti thinking video. Anyway, that little voice inside of my head said I was about the wreck something if I tried harder to pull the knobs off. As a result, I just flexed the fender and snuck the cover under the bulkhead fender cover so i could remove the fender. The left side is easier to remove than the right side.

If I was going to do it over again, I might try nailing the handle with a rubber mallet to see if that can knock the little nub off. Other than that, I got nothing, other than to say that a strange, mysterious force that is beyond my comprehension holds the nubs on their handles. FWIW, the red bend air door nub in the ceiling is the same way.
