Here is a link to the operators manual would start there as how to bleed. Here is a YouTube video that may help. Also it helps to fill the new filter before putting it on. Can not hurt to double check the fuses, starting with the 30amp key fuse.

Are you getting any smoke coming out?

Hope this helps.

Loosen screw(parts key #4) and pump hand pump(parts key #7) until fuel comes out under screw head then tighten screw and attempt to crank. I'll bet you won't have to bleed inj lines.

Following the manual and what was suggested in the video do you feel you have the system bleed? Having you stand by the injection pump and having someone turn the key just to the run position (no need to try and try to start it) can you hear the fuel solenoid click?

Next thing to try is to bleed/crack the injectors. I have attached a pdf on how to do this it is from John Deere CTM125 for the 2.9L. Does the first picture look like your injection pump?

Sorry if you already know this take care when dealing with fuel under pressure.

Not at al always good to be safe, yes the first one is it.Was no click, with 12 volts on pos pump terminal when key is pump does not click, jumper wire to battery pos pump clicks, take wire off pump terminal from relay turn on key touch to terminal pump clicks?what is the item on back right bottom with two black wires going into connector one goes to neg terminal on pump body other thru a device above pump like on end of block, this was not connected bad connectorthat device shows normally closed or shorted can't find on any diagram.Theory wise the item on the bottom right should be a 12 volt device?

What you put power to and is clicking is the fuel solenoid. The device (two black wires going into connector) is the thermistor sensor/temperature switch (thermistors are temperature variable resistors used as sensors). For now you can disconnect it, it is part of the "cold start advance".

I cannot hear my fuel solenoid click the only way I know it is working is to put a DC voltmeter on it. The back terminal is the positive.

At this point it appears the fuel solenoid is not getting power. A very common problem with the 3029 engine is this sensor part # RE503242 shorts out and blows the fuse for the fuel solenoid. I know you said all the fuses look ok, but I ask that you look again. On your tractor I believe that would be the 30 amp key switch fuse.

I assume member joecdeere sent you the tech manual can you post the page that shows the starting system operation, let me know if you do not know how to do this. If fuses look good the problem maybe with a relay, but I need to see the starting system picture to make sure.

If you do find a fuse bad, replace it and leave the sensor disconnected and try and start it. If you hear the fuel solenoid click, but does not start, you will need to bleed the system.
