Need help deciding on a grapple

The Wildkat 48" econo grapple weighs 420lbs. It does have 8 tines.

Man, that Gorilla Grapple looks like one seriously overbuilt (in a good way!) piece of equipment. If I had something with the power of your Telehandler, I'd want one of those grapples.

Could you hook it to a tree and pull against it to see how much something would pull as long as you did not exceed the scales max weight?

WR Long's 48" with single lid is listed at 357 lbs. And Bradco is at 300 lbs. So I think IslandTractor's numbers are about right and Titan's are too high.

I would have to believe Bradco and WR Long's tines are at least 3/8". Bradco's could be made out of gold at that price. haha
