On the ones with a cap, fill with diesel. On the ones with no cap, the return line on the injectors keep the little bottle full all the time. If the bottle without a cap is not full, and the injector lines to it are clear, it might soon need a new injector pump because there isn't enough excess flow to keep the little bottle full. Good indicator of how well your injector pump puts out fuel.

My. Return does not have a bottle it goes right to the diesel tank at the neck
