No rain here either. I have decided to try the naked rain dance on Wednesday, since that is the next chance forecast here. If you hear of some crazy lady, being arrested for dancing naked in the pastures, you'll know it was me! Of course, if it rains, I'll be peope will line up to post my bail! :D

Just what time were you going to dance?..:cool2: Lou

Wednesday is the day Google Earth is scheduled to update their satellite map for north Texas.

Maybe the rain gods will make it rain, so that they don't have to witness the dance!

"Naked Lady" would make a great name for a Saloon:laughing: I'm afraid if I saw that I'd grab a coffee and sit down for the "show":D Heck may even rain!!!

Have to work In Conroe a couple of days, looks like I might be dodging some rain, at least I may get to see what it looks like:thumbsup:

Well, Western, would you be so kind as to bring some of that rain back when you return?

I used to work shifts in Houston, Beaumont and Orange. Even if it didn't rain, it was MUGGY. When it did rain, it would cool while rain was falling, then heat up almost the minute it stopped.

If you like good pickled foods, and don't mind the price, Woody's on I-45 before you get to Conroe, has some good items. I used to stop and get jerky, pickled green beans, spicy pickled garlic and the like to have with me when away from home. Since they had a truck stop there too, I could stop when I was just in my truck, or if I had the travel trailer behind me.

At least, so far, no one on this thread has threatened to be the ones calling the sheriff's dept. on me! Thanks y'all!

Farmgirl, I like stopping at the "Bucky's" (Spelling) They have wonderful fudge of all sorts of flavors:thumbsup: Not real "keen" on there sandwiches though. I just hope most of the road construction is done, I need to get done and get up to Nacogdoches by Tuesday.

Yum, fudge!

I hear ya about the road construction. I think they wait until they know I'll be on the road, and where, then decide that is what they need to tear up and work on.
