The WICKED Root & Debris GRAPPLE!!!!!!!

I received my EA 66” Wicked Root Grapple last night and used it for several hours today. It did everything I asked of it. I did have to change the hoses. They were too short for my factory installed 3rd function valve solid mounts. I couldn’t be happier with the purchase. :thumbsup:

I have the same loader and factory installed 3rd function on my L5740. How long are the hoses you changed over to?

I changed them to 5' hoses. The solid mounts for my hose ends are off to the side and slightly back. I'm sure you will enjoy your purchase like I have!

Our hoses are 42" long. With our tractors, it only took 36" at full dump to get there and we made them a little longer for versatility on different tractors. We didn't anticipate a side hook-up like that because the lines go to the center of the torque tube with most 3rd function kits. In the future for anyone else, if you let us know that there is a reason for longer hoses, we will include them with your grapple.

Do you guys think the 72 in wicked root grapple would be on a case IH farmall 55a? It says its for compact tractors? But my tractor doesn't really fall in the compact line up. But its only 55 HP! What do you think? I plan on calling them tomorrow and hopefully order it! This grapple seems like it is a really good deal! Thanks!

Yes I would! It has already done a great deal of work for me. I would highly recommend an EA Wicked Root Grapple if you are in the market.:thumbsup:

I bought mine for use on my Kubota L5740 which is in a similar HP class as your tractor. I am very confident in it's performance on my machine. Like anything, it depends how you use it. I am sure it can be destroyed by your machine if you really tried, but if it us used in a reasonable manner I think it will be just fine for your tractor. :tractor:

Picked up my 66in wicked root grapple today from the freight doc. Wow this thing is wicked! Everything looks great, and the teeth are sharp!

Just waiting on the quick attach from wr long to arrive.

I debated going with the 72 or the 66in for my tractor but for all the debris and trash clean up we will be doing I think the 66 will be more agile.

Ill try to get some pics up once its in action.
