They claimed if it was due to bad fuel it wouldnt be covered under warrenty..

Isnt that nice of them to tell you of an excuse early? It can't be your fault for bad fuel. After all you buy fuel from local stations and you have absolutely no way of telling if it bad fuel before pumping.

Someone has to be held accountable, not the customers. :(

That was the local dealer that I did not buy my truck from, red flags went off so I drove over an hour to the dealer I bought it from and left it with them..

Just replace 2003 TrailBlazer EXT V8 (5.3) with 2012 LT Z71 Suburban (5.3). We've put 300 miles on it so far, don't plan on pulling a trailer until I get at least 500+ miles on it.

Here's a few pictures.

You will love the trailer brake controller but it seems to me GM puts them in a weird place, kind of like a afterthought. You will soon realize what you have been missing. Its the best feature on the new trucks to me. I have had one since 2005 on my 06 F-350. On our Fords they are right up on the dash front and center next to the rotary knob for the 4 wheel drive.

I'd buy that new Suburban with a Duramax in a heartbeat if they made it!

My uncle has a mid 90's 6.5L 3/4 ton Suburban. Its actually been a pretty solid truck. He has had to replace the injector pump twice. Once under warranty and once out of pocket, about $3000. Other than that its been trouble free. He pulls a 10,000# boat with it. The max tow rating is 12,000# and its by no means a Powerstroke, Cummins, or Dmax but it does a decent job and gets 18 mpg.
