Here is my set-up:
1997 Ford F250 Diesel
18' 14k bumper pull (would really love to get a goose-neck)
Kubota L5030HSTC

Just got this tractor and had to haul it home just over 300 miles, pulled beautifully, I was able to average 16mpg at 65mph.

-JESSE1- that old White is just BEAUTIFUL, wonderful job restoring it

James

James, nice rig. My '99 will get 19+ on highway empty but if it even gets a whiff of a trailer it goes to 12mph!:D Plenty of power even at 238,000 miles.

I had a 1997 F250 Diesel 4x4 with 273k miles and it was a great truck. I sold it to a tree surgeon and it is still working to the best of my knowledge.

Here is my rig and BX24 ready to go.

Can I have that spare part? :D

Great little setup, BTW. Over the years I kept getting bigger stuff and bigger stuff and bigger stuff. Now I've started buying some smaller stuff because there are definitely times and circumstances where bigger stuff is a disadvantage.

See LB it does not take a Volvo Semi and a 53' deck over trailer to pull a BX. That little S10 Blazer and his 7K 16' landscape trailer does just fine.

I use the Escort Wagon to clear the deer off of the norther Michigan roads, somthing I would hate to do with my good vehicles. I have taken out 4 of them with it so far, almost got number 5 last night. The last one popped both air bags so the insurance company totalled the car at around 180,000 miles. They gave me around $800 for it and I bought it back from them for $146. It is the most amazing vehicle I have ever owned. The air conditioner still blows ice cold and it gets 34 miles per gallon and has the complete origional exhaust system on it. The Michigan winters haven't beed very kind to
it though. The rocker panels have gone away and when I jacked it up to replace the left rear spring that was broke in 5 places I noticed I could see the carpeting from under the car. The floors are getting a little thin also........the chick's that this thing attracts all drive Catarackts......

Here is mine. After looking at this post for the last year, I finally decided to post. And yes, it is a load on my vehicle.
