Wet brakes

/ Wet brakes #11
One other question concerning wet brakes.
I leave the handbrake on on my F215 tractor all through the winter when the tractor is not in use assuming that being wet brakes they cannot sieze on.
Is this assumption correct?

Good question, I suppose fluid condition could weigh in on the answer. I don't lock mine during storage time but do on a regular basis while changing implements, etc. None of my manuals has any information on this.

If it was my tractor, I would not keep the brake on, I would just block the wheel with a block of wood.
