SC2450 Parking Brake Lever Disengaging

I recently got a Cub Cadet Yanmar SC2450. It's working great, but there is a recurring issue. The parking brake lever/pedal never manages to stay engaged for very long before popping back out. It seems to be shaken loose just by the vibration of the engine sometimes, and using the loader or backhoe definitely does as well. It's pretty frustrating as well as a safety issue. Is this something others have come across, and is there a fix to it?
