Always remember... Beer has food value, but food has no beer value.;)

Johnson's Law of Beer.

It goes like this..

1> There IS no work without beer

2> No job is less than 3 beers

3> 1 beer tastes like 3

4> 3 times 3 equals 9

5> There's no such thing as a "nine pack"

6> Therefore, you might as well plan on a dozen beer for any job.

Just as a note, the guy that came up with this used to be my next-door neighbour. We built a raised deck behind his house one summer. As I recall, it took the best part of a month working at it on weekends and evenings.

Between the three of us (his 16 year old son helped) we went through 29 dozen beer building the deck. His wife claims it would have been faster and cheaper to hire a contractor. I think she's right. Pretty much any time we picked up a hammer a dozen beer disappeared.

Not that I advocate drinking alcohol.....

But the last time I checked this was still the United States of America and your neighbor should be able to drink what ever he pleases if he hurts no one.

It sounds like there are a lot of busybody's that need to stop snooping on their neighbors, and we would all get along better.:ashamed:

He's hurting no one but himself.

Coors = 1 per acre

Bud Lite = 1 per acre and a half

Michelob, Sam Adams, Heineken, Lowenbrau = 1 per 3 acres

Red Hook Copper Top or ESB = 1 per 5 acres

1 bottle of brown Belgian Chimay beer = 0 acres. 1 bottle and it's nap time!

I wish all it would take for my neighbor to keep their place up was beer. I'd buy it for them. Lawn 2 feet tall, garbage all over, and place looks like a dump. So I'd be happy as a pig in **** if they'd just keep it up with/without beer makes no difference to me.

Dang, I haven't had a Chimay in years...I need to get a bottle. Now I just need to decide whether to get a red top, blue top, or white top.
