I'm shutting down the My Power Trac site (www.mypowertrac.com) due to lack of interest.

It was originally set up, based on discussions here, as a potential opportunity for Power Trac owners to collaboratively develop more comprehensive User/Owner Manuals and Maintenance Manuals since the factory doesn't provide those.

That idea, as great as it sounds, never really took off and some of the guys who were most active there initially have actually sold their PTs...

So, I'm ending that failed experiment. I did a database backup and downloaded all the files that had been uploaded, just in case...

Thanks, guys! I'm glad it was of some value to some folks along the way. I really should've shut it down long ago but it kinda had a sentimental value after all the invested time and effort (Cognitive Dissonance??).

It was never really intended as a discussion forum to compete with this place, but more as a collaborative way to develop more "permanent" reference information such as documented procedures, checklists, etc., that could be combined into "manuals."

So much for those good intentions... :laughing:

I also looked at it before i bought my PT and I appreciated what i found there. Your site and Moss' along with this forum are why i was comfortable buying a PT sight unseen.
