I'd love to help you but I upgraded my B7800.

Medic,

Thanks for the reply. If you can collapse the stabilizer to the minimum and measure length, and then extend and measure the length that would help.

I believe that these will also work on my L2350 DT.

Thanks again.

No I meant I'd love to help but I upgraded by B7800 to an L3940 . I no longer have it sorry.

I did this upgrade on my 2620 and it's great. There is no side to side play. The holes are not all evenly spaced which gives you all the range of adjustment you could want.

Medic,

Thanks for the reply.

ETW,

Thanks for the reply as well. Would you be able to measure the range? compressed and extended?

Do you have a pic handy?

Thanks again.

So Evil, was it an easy upgrade? Would you recommend/encourage others to do it to improve their quality of life on the tractor? Thanks in advance! :p

I would recommend it, although it cost me about $170 to 'fix' what some may consider a minor issue. Adjusting the check chains was a pain in the neck. Paint on the threads, trying to figure out which way to rotate the turnbuckle, etc. I like how the arms stay put now even when there is nothing connected to the 3 pt. It would be a nice standard feature, but I understand the economy vs deluxe model tradeoffs. It was very easy to make the swap and the process and parts list is well documented on these forums.

Well then, I'll be calling my dealer and ordering the parts. If all it does is eliminate the confusion of which way to turn the turnbuckle that is reason enough for me. I bought my tractor to enjoy, not to be frustrated by silly fixable things :p

You could get Pat's easy change system or any number of other products that simplify 3 pt hookups instead. I believe Landpride makes something for this purpose also.

I have the LandPride Quick Hitch thingy. But as you know, some things should have no sway and some should have a little. The telescoping links would make swapping back and forth a breeze with no confusion. As I get older I seem to confuse more easily so I try to do what I can to complicate how easily I confuse
