Have owned this and used it for almost 7 years. The first season the transmission when bad locking both rear wheels, but cub cadet replaced it without charge. 7 years later, after just cutting the grass today, I was reminded of what a terrible PITA using the dual bag grass catcher was, since new, the lower shoot would easily clog. Stopping, getting off and removing, unclogging and replacing is torture! Easily having to do this 20 times today just cutting the rear yard! Help! Has anyone come up with a better solution? Is there a better shute design that can be retro fit, or do I need a tow behind grass catcher!

prolly gonna tell ya all the things you don't want to hear...
1) this time of year, grass has high moisture content- it wants to stick. Gotta cut it at driest time of day. If any wet shows up on front tires from grass, park it and wait.
2) Full RPM. Deck underside and chute inside scraped/cleaned from last use. only take 1/3 of grass height per pass. Keep yer ground speed slow until you find out what the current conditions will allow.
2) blades themselves in good shape - cutting edges sharp, wings not worn off/broken off.

Gone through all of that without improvement. Was hoping to hear of different Shute design or something else to prevent the lower clogs! Couldn't drive any slower! Double cut, even triple cut lawn without significant improvement!
Remember, trying to cut grass and remove clippings efficiently, not spending the whole day cutting and raking!
