I have the above zero turn. I have a intermittent starting issue. The battery is strong and is not the issue. Sometimes I turn the key and absolutely nothing happens. Other times the engine turns over, strongly, and starts.
I found these two wires that look like a rodent chewed through. They are red and green. Not sure where they go to. If you stand at the rear of the mower they originate near the left back corner of the battery. Not sure if they have anything to do with the mower not getting any starting power or not.
Mower runs like a champ when it starts but took me about 30 minutes of flipping the seat back and forth and wiggling random wires around to make some sort of connection to make the engine turn over. I checked the fuse under the seat and it appears to be good.
Any help would be much appreciated. I have Tuesday off but I work long hours Wednesday and Thursday.

Thanks. I had a lot to do today so I couldn't get to it, plus it's so cold out that it's snowing here in Central NY and it's not melting. I work long hours Wed and Thursday but it's suppose to be nice Friday, Saturday and Sunday so I'll get to it then. I'll find the pto and check the wires coming out of it. Thanks for giving me something to look for.
