YM1700 water pump addon

What parts are needed to put a water pump on a YM1700. I've seen a kit advertised but it didn't list what all was in it. Mine wants to run 200-210 degrees when using a 4 foot bush hog on field grass. I'd rather see it around 160-180. Thanks for any info.

When I got my water pump kit it consisted of a water pump, 2 hoses, a pulley, and seems like there was something else but I can't remember. It will be the best thing you can do to your YM1700. Mine runs 190 degrees when mowing heavy. I don't have to constantly worry about it. This will give you a look it it.

I just had to rebuild a customers YM1700 because he let the radiator get full of grass and cooked it. He had me put a pump kit on it. I think there was a couple of bolts that came with it that I had to cut off a little, but other than that it went on like it belonged there.

Maybe that was what I was forgetting. The bolts I believe are shorter because where they go on the water pump is not as thick as the plate that covers where where the pump goes. It's a real easy installation though.

Where did you get your kit and how much did it cost if you don't mind my asking?

I got mine at Fredricks. Both Fredricks and Hoye Tractor were the same price and I live only 35 miles from Fredricks.
