YM1500 Red or Green

I just bought a YM1500D, which is red. But I'm beginning to suspect someone painted it red and it's really a green because parts aren't matching up. For instance, the rear axle cover is much more like the green model than the red. My problem is that the seals I ordered don't fit my rear axle, and I haven't been able to find the right ones since I'm not really sure what I'm looking for. Is it possible someone could have matched up a rear end from an entirely different tractor?

I know from talking to a new and used parts supplier, that the 195 g 240 g and the 1500 r and the 2000 r have the same rear and transmission. To the best of my knowledge they are all painted black. and use the same parts. Call this number and ask for Len 815-284-3226.

The older YM1500 have a rearend like a YM155. The older YM1500 (green/black) has a steel clutch housing & no axle housing with a long axle shaft. The newer YM1500 (red/grey) has a cast clutch housing with axle housings & a seal/bearing retainer on the end of the housing.

That sounds right! I've been trying to find the seal/bearing retainer at the end of the housing, but haven't been able to. I actually don't need the retainer, just the seal, but I can't even find anyone who knows what I'm talking about. I've ordered three different seals but none of them are quite right. Any idea where I can find a diagram of this particular housing? Hoye gets close, but not quite.

Also my tractor also has a welded hub on the axle, rather than a removable hub. Until you answered this post I had about decided I had some kind of a rig job for a rear end.
