There is a YM142/YM146 parts manual out there.

And the member, thepumpguysc would know so much more about our fuel injection pumps too. There are components to swap to improve the flow.

Out of interest, why do you want to "turn up" the injector pump?

There was a post here a year or so ago where a guy was trying to get more horsepower out of his Yanmar for a tractor pull engine. I can't find the post now but I think he ended up finding that, in order to get more power, he had to get more RPM & a turbo. There wasn't a really easy solution.

My YM2610 engine, 3T80 is used on a few machines. The Hp is different due to the injector arrangement. Yes, the engine can do more Hp if the injectors were upgraded. Likewise, the 3T84 series, the most widely used YM engines are the same way.

As for pumpguync or pumpguysc, can't recall, he's been around recently on the other tractor forums. Dropping a PM usually works.

The injector pump upgrade will only raise to Hp a tad. More on the lower model machines vs. the higher model numbered machines. Because the higher models are just that, they are already at the peak injector pump settings. Thus, like Aaron mentioned, the IHI turbo that Rock2610 did would be the ideal way to go.

That is a very good question for the YM146 SCUT. The wheels are in the lawn tractor sizes.

Really late to this question but I also was messing around with mine and found the bolt on the front of the injection pump. You need to remove the cap and loosen the lock nut then the threads back out.
