Man I sure hope there isn't much wrong with your tractor.....But it sounds like it is......Hopefully, it won't cost too much to fix it....The YM2000s are some very nice machines.

I have 6022 or 3262 napa or wix 3362 as fuel filter # s . you could take your old filter & ask to look at the above filters to see if they match yours.

Hi All!

New member Greg Clark here. YM2000 new owner.

I need a fuel filter - I want one I can get at the auto parts store. Any help? :)

Thanks!

Greg

GEEZ GUYS, NAPA 3262.

Filters are a little pricey even at the auto store. Aaron at Hoye has a 3-pack of filters for less than 20 bucks. Don't forget to change the O-ring, dosn't hurt to change the filter bowl either.

Norm, I had those # s but, hadn't bought any from the auto parts . I get a better deal from fredricks. 6022 maybe an air filter. I know the wix # is correct

Some dealers still use (and advocate using) the aftermarket 6022 or equivalent. We have rebuilt two engines that were otherwise well cared for, but used that filter. Both are unusual situations in that the owners put 600-1000 hours a year on them, but.....they only show what will happen to your engines in 10 years. The 6022 and equivalents often do not completely seal, especially if you are using the original filter canister with old, sometimes dilapidated, neoprene. The OEM metal cased filter was a bastard size. There is an aftermarket filter made specifically to replace the 1500/1700/2000/2500 filter. $12 and change. Also available are new air canister lids, complete with new neoprene seals...app. $30. Cheap insurance.

Wayne,

Where can this filter ($12) and new 'canister' ($30) be purchased?..........I'll probably end up buying that.

Travis, it's not a canister, it's a canister lid and I've been selling them and the filters for 2 - 3 years.
