Xj2025 single bottom plow

Any XJ owners out there tried pulling a single bottom plow with there machine, i'm curious as to how well it would do, my soil is pretty rocky and definetly has clay, thanks

LS/XJ2025H is 1,609 pounds, bare tractor, with 24.4-horsepower/18-horsepower PTO and 4-WD.

In MOIST rocky/clay soil you can pull a 12" or 14" size single moldboard plow easily.

Full size moldboard plows will not fit your subcompact tractor, despite Category 1 Three Point Hitch. You will need a moldboard plow specifically designed to fit subcompact tractors.

Alright thanks,good to know, i do have filled tires also, now to start looking for a good used plow for spring, thank you

Now is the time to plow.

Late Fall / early Winter is the best time to plow. Alternate freeze/thaw cycles will break up the clay in your plowed ground.

Used implements are cheapest when there is snow on the ground.
