Yes. But that is when the load is truly perpendicular to the cylinder. On just about every trailer, you get less than half the potential lift. Easy enough to calculate if you have the geometry. Still, even at say 25%, there is enough lift in most cases. My hydraulic trailer sometimes needs "help" getting it started if the load weigh is to fall forward of the piston. So, I try to load only the back 2/3rds. This is with a 1000 PSI JD425. I haven't tried it with my 2700 PSI Kioti. Suspect that would be no problem at all. Anyway, if I could get more vertical angle, I'd have a lot more power. That is why I suggested inquiring about raising the bed/pivot point. Then the cylinder could be more vertical.

3 in cyl, 1.5 in shaft, and 945 psi.

Even at 45 degrees, the cyl will push 4,723 lbs.

---------25------------------------------2,823 lbs

---------10------------------------------1,160 lbs

Good. Someone paid attention to vector math in school.

Trig. Sin(10)=0.1736 X 6680 = 1159.65.

10 degrees probably isn't that far off, at least at initial lift.
