- 2016 New Holland WorkMaster 33
hi first post here,
i have a 2016 new holland workmaster 33. Recently i went to use it and the red exclamation point light came on and was flashing. it was on by itself. it was NOT accompanied by the regen lights at all. Thought this was odd. gave a general look over and didnt see anything out of the ordinary but then realized it will not rev up at all. in the midst of trouble shooting at some point that light does not show up anymore and my glow plug light doesnt come on either. the tachometer also stays at 0, the temp gage flickers but it doesnt really climb in temp. and my fuel gauge works still.
i checked every fuse in the left side dash and all were good and had voltage on each side of them. i also checked my relays. i did a simple swap as my headlight relays were working so i tried swapping that with the glow burner relay and the other ones in there with no change. also checked each relays pins and had voltage on them. i tried a new battery for the heck of it with no change. checked battery cable ground to frame and it had only .1 ohm.
Anyone had a similar issue? i know its hard to pinpoint eletrical stuff without a scanner but i visually checked all the points in the harness i could see and found no damage from mice or rubbing. different gears or neutral make no diffrence either. it still starts with no hesitation and within the first five seconds of running you can rev it up quite far but then it drops back down(tach still says zero though). pto will come on as well. Trying to troubleshoot as much i can before i give in and take it to the dealer.
