My first trailer, first time with hydraulics. I had everything but the but the hoses. It actually works

Is that a 5000lb house trailer axle?

That is a nice looking trailer and it dumps!

The axle size looks like it will carry all you can put on it, which is good.

Looks great. Those are some hefty rams.

You might want to zip tie your hoses up a little better. They look like they're just looking for something to catch on.

Well done using tractors hydraulics, need high sides since it looks like it can handle the weight.

Looks like a little bit of plumbing involved with those DA cylinders, maybe you could some how rig it to split wood, you already have the HD rolling frame, would make one heck of a nut cracker with those two cylinders retracting.

Thanks for the replies, the axle is from a mobile home, I cut about 2' out and put it back together. The hitch is an old receiver on a 7''x7''x 3/8 angle, but still flexes a little. The plumbing went well for an educated guess. I still have some finish work to do, clean up the hoses, some welding, and some paint.

You need to put some gussets in the angle, just far enough from the ball to allow good radial movement of the trailer tongue. The flex will eventually fatigue and then break the angle.
