I have been tryin to buy the top link for my Cub Cadet yea I know its just a small tractor but, looking for that top link to raise a plow is hard to find. Finally found one for sale and the fellow wanted 200 dollars for it. So I thought what if I bolted a 1/4" steel plate to where it mounts and put a cheap 12 volt winch on there. Man you talk about easy lifting of the plow when you get to the end of a row. When i had a top link I had to stop the tractor put it in reverse and back up at least a inch so I could find enough strength in my arm to lift the handle that lifted the plow.
Now when I get to the end of the row while plowing I hit the switch and the plow is up and I can make my turn and drop it going the other way and when I am done I dont have the pain in my arms after all that lifting.
