Now that Amazon is having their "sale" has anyone purchased work lights from them? What did you like, how did they work out, suggestions etc.? I thought about on ROPS, but it won't always be up, really not a need on flat driveway.

On my Kioti CK I have predrilled holes on fenders that would make a nice place to put them. They will illuminate around the FEL, and I'm looking at ones that will swivel as well. I will use them most likely in the dark of winter when removing snow. Maybe in warmer months, but I doubt it. They don't have to illuminate acres in front of tractor, just be bright enough for loader work. Thanks...

Thanks. looks decent enough. I'm looking at these
More light than I think I need, but the deal finder in me says more light the better. Gonna think that over again.
Looked at close to 100, can't find one that swivels front to back.

My JD came with them from the factory, but not as bright as you are looking at. Not that great, still to low. They are nice for lighting up the area off to the sides, beside the FEL instead of in front of it. I have added a bright led on the side of my rops so it doesn’t need the rops folded up. That’s not that great but it works. The problems is it’s a little low and gives you some glare, especially if you look back on that side.

I never had much luck illuminating the area in front of my Kubota for FEL work using fender mounted lights. Great for 3pt work though. Might work better on a Kioti, I'm not sure. If I didn't have ROPS lights, I would consider replacing the headlights with brighter LED bulbs.

The ROPS is the ideal place for mounting lights. Is there a reason you keep yours folded? Garage clearance maybe?

The only fender-mounted lights I had were on the Ford 1210. They were pre-LED and not terrific. On the B7500 I had, I made a couple brackets to mount a halogen flood light on each side between the loader frame and hood. They worked remarkably well and lit an area of almost 180°. Back then mowing often happened after sunset due to schedules and working up to 2 hours away from home.

One thing I mentioned before when discussing lighting is the better definition the halogens provided. The LED's throw blinding light but when mounting them on the ROPS or front of a cab, they didn't contrast the cut/uncut grass like the halogens. That was resolved by mounting an extra pair of LED's low on the front so they "raked" the area in front of the tractor (like when the sun is at the right angle to show all the uneven siding on the house).

In the closer picture the port side light can be seen under the T in Kubota.
