Kubota 3600 Kubota BX2200
Hi,
I'm new at this but would appreciate some help from you guys out there.
I'm on 4.5 acres and have a 1999 Kubota 3600 with front end loader and a BX 2200 with a belly mower(which I call "Baby K").

I had trouble last year with the bearings on the mower but with the information that I gleaned from the sites, I saved a whole bunch of money by knowing what was "really" wrong with it.

Just noticed a front wheel "bearing" problem on the 3600 so here I am again with questions.

So is it leaking at the pivot? You can put thicker lube in the front axel and that will slow it down some.

I wondered about that but noticed the wheel seems to be a little wobbly compared to the right one. The thing that upsets me is that I complained ,while it was under warranty, that the left wheel seemed to tow in more than the right one and I was told it was okay. Well now it is the problem wheel. It has also been leaking slightly for several years but today I noticed it was flowing down onto the wheel. Is that a seal leaking?

Welcome Sharon! It sounds like seal is going and that is not terribly unusual on Kubota's of that age. Not sure about the wobbling you are seeing. There are several bearings that could cause that.

I have learned to have those discussions/conversations about questionable warranty issues documented. Intelligence may not improve with age but we can become wiser if we work on it.

I use 85-90 gear lube in the front axle of my L3000 Dt Kubota. So far at over 750 hrs it is holding oil well..The seals are not fun to change if they are the pivoting knuckle above the axle? Don't know from your description about wobbling?Jy.
