Why buy a Deere CUT?

No my statement extends to John Deere themselves. John Deere's customer service has been some of the worst I have ever experienced. There is more integrity and goodwill shown with government employees then there has been with John Deere employees. If I could rank companies and institutions with the worst customer service John Deere would be one of the top 3.
You need to reread my statement.

I'm glad to hear that you were one of the few that had a good experience with them but you are an outlier. Many others on this forum have reported a very different experience then what you had.
Deere offers excellent customer service to their customers.
But, they have only one customer and his last name is Dealership.
The customer service you want comes from the dealer. The dealer is your liaison to the manufacturer.

There seems to be a wide range of customer service at JD dealerships all over the country. And an even wider range of helpful vs uncaring dealerships. We've generally got helpful JD & Kubota dealerships out West.

I don't know if bad service is something we can do much about. There's nobody that listens. So it may be something the John Deere Corporation has to deal with. I bet they will eventually listen, but right now they seem to have other concerns.
If anyone has ideas, I'm listening.

I think people believe what ever they own is the best whether it actually is or not. For me, I have never owned any other tractor than my JD 3032E and it has been a great machine. I have never had to deal with a warranty claim or any other issue so I cant comment on how the dealer or JD would be to deal with if you had a service issue. I have literally done nothing to this tractor except change fluids myself and that's it in 8 years of ownership. No warranty claims or repairs of any kind. So for me, if I ever wanted another tractor I would look real hard at JD again based on my experience. But I doubt I will ever buy another tractor because this one does all I need.

Then what are all the numbers at the bottom of the page?

The local JD dealer here is a virtual monopoly as they own ALL the JD dealers in rural SW Ohio. They have a terrible reputation unless you are a big time farm operation with large ag tractors.

Just circumvent the JD dealer and go to the Yanmar dealer instead. That's how you get a JD Compact Utility Tractor (CUT) with a Yanmar engine. 🤠

Problem solved.
