Why buy a Deere CUT?

It's just the green paint. Because under that green paint is a cheap machine. They are built just like the rest. Look at an old one then look at a new one. I'd take one of them old ones with the fuel tank in front of the radiator any day. You can't run fast enough to give me one with a plastic fuel tank behind the seat.
Deere's 3R's are in a class by themselves. They are bullet proof reliable and have the right feel and size BUT if you price them you will find they outprice 4 different classes of Kubota tractors. When I ran the numbers here in my market I found that the 3R was over $7500 more then the Kubota L3901. This is why Deere compares their 3R tractor to Kubota's Grand L 4060 because they don't want you to see how overpriced their tractor is to the closest comparable model in Kubota's lineup. However, the Grand L4060 is the wrong comparison due to it's size and weight difference. And I will further point out that the Grand L 4060 still beats the Deere 3R tractor on price all day long.

Mine has metal tank behind the seat. So much easier to fill. No chance of spilling fuel near a hot engine.

I'll squirt diesel on a hot engine all day long. Not worried about that.

My 2013 3032E has a plastic fuel tank behind the engine under the cowling, right in front of the instrument panel, not behind the seat. I fill it and go.

That's where it's at on my 3520 as well, which isn't a bad location. I just stand up on the operator platform and pour down to fill. But if I knew how bad and over priced Deere's were I wouldn't have bought it. :)

I bought numerous Deeres since 1972 and never considered how much I was getting screwed. I have 2 left I will try to give away for the hauling.
Are you being serious or facetious?
Facetious. I must have bought 15+ JDs over the years and sold them eventually and never figured I got a raw deal. Just countering the many JD haters.
