I have a White LT145 Hydromatic and I would like to check the transmission oil level. Now 2 questions.
Where do I check the level? What oil is used?

For the most part the tranny is non serviceable. Would have to remove tranny and split unit if gear drive. If hydrostat would have to remove vent tube to tranny to check level (which could also require removing tranny from mower to access). If no sign of leaks then level is fine.

Thanks for the reply Randy. I know Its an old bit of gear but it came with the house we purchased about 9 yrs ago and it's never been touched, just thought it should checked. It still runs good. :thumbsup:
