Which Tractor

/ Which Tractor #21
The John Deere 990 will meet your hp requirements although the minimum. It is still considered a compact utility tractor but large enough to do what you want. The 990 is a very basic, simple, and very well built tractor. Otherwise maybe the John Deere 4710 would be the other choice if you want the bells and whistles.

John, as I stated it is just one man's opinion, but with my experience on my neighbors JD 790 and renting a JD 4310 and a JD 4710 I feel the Kubota was much smoother (3730). I feel the ergonomics on the Deere are better as well as visilibity on the loader. Again the NH TC35-45 D's are (to me) the best from an ergonomic standpoint I just prefer the best visibility I can get.

Im shure if every person in ths forum were given a choice they would take diffrent pieces from each brand and build the "Perfect" tractor. Till that happens everyone compromises and leans to the brand with the features they find most important.
