I am considering trading my BX2200 for a B3030. My tow vehicle and receiver hitch are rated at 3500 GVWR. The B3030 by itself is about 1900 lb. I think I will need to be able to tow the tractor and at least 1 implement at a time. The bh is the heaviest implement I would envision carrying. I am looking for the lightest trailer I can find that is 3500 GVWR, so I can get max. payload. I need the weight of the backhoes, though, before I can make the final calcs. 3500 lb GVWR - 1900 lb tractor = 1600 lb total for trailer and bh. I don't know if that's possible, but I am trying to find out.

Look in your owners manual or talk to your tow truck's dealer and ask if a weight distribution hitch is avalible for your truck. I'm assuming you have a 2" reciever hitch, if not you'll need one. By adding a weight distribution hitch I go from 5000lbs to 7500 lbs. It could be the difference you need.
