What\'s a 1420 worth?

I have my 1420, with bagger, in the front yard with a for sale sign on it. Well maintained, always garaged and really only looks a few years old instead of 18. I'm asking $600 obo. Am I living in dream land? If it's only worth $200, I'll just keep it for mowing along the road, which includes hidden bottles, rocks, cans and such.

By cheking the completed listings on E-Bay, it is a good way to judge what specific used machines sell for on the auction market.

Currently on the completed page for CC 1420's, there was a good condition one that sold for $280, and another one slightly better that was resrved at $400 that did not sell. Figure an exceptional one if yours is can fetch more, and the 1420 has a good Kohler Magum engine so I would keep it rather than just give it away for next to nothing if you can't get at least $500 for it.
