There are great tradeoffs between new and used. However one of them is if your running a business you can "write" it off on your taxes.
If your like me and NOT running a business you just pay it all. I've chosen to go the used route. Just before I bought my M4700 (tractordata m4700) I was about to buy an L4630 from Barlow's for $17K delivered.
with a full change of fluids and filters (worth a LOT in itself).
