What hitch to pull batwing

I'm pulling a batwing mower 30 miles with my truck. What hitch will I need to be able to pull it? I have ball hitches, and a circle donut I used for a tractor pull once. Do I need a pointless hitch?

I have seen a couple of different types of hitches on pull type bush hogs.

Most can be pulled with a standard receiver hitch and hitch pin by removing the ball.



Others require a clevis type receiver hitch.




Can you just call who has the cutter to be certain which one you'll need?

The batwing has a clevis style bar/hitch. Can i rem0ve the ball attached t0 my hitch and then the put a pin between the clevis 0n batwing?

Yes, that is the only way to tow it with a truck.

I hope you have a very heavy-duty pickup to pull it with. Batwings are very nose heavy. You will probably be overloading your receiver hitch as well.
