What do you guy\'s think? CK30

I've changed my mind. I think I'm going to get the CK30hst with a Rhino back hoe 85 and the 130 loader. Also the dealer is going to install rear work lights, conopy and pads for the hoe. All for 21,500.

Does this sound ok

Thanks

I am not sure I would put the 85 backhoe on the machine.

DK35vince has the Rhino 85 BH and may be able to give you some sound advice. You may want to try and PM him. Gerard

Re: What do you guy\'s think? CK30

Kioti only approves up to a 7.5' hoe for that model. Going to the one foot larger 85 will void the warranty if there is a problem. The R&D department tested models with different backhoe sizes, and that is what they set for max size.
I personally think that frame could handle the subframe mounted 8.5', but my opinion doesn't count. You would need to get a waiver in writing from Kioti/Daedong to insure they would warranty any problems the larger BH caused.
I'd simply go for the 75 on that model.
As for the price, it's not bad for the named items. John

I've asked my dealer about this and he said I don't need worry. Should I contact Kioti and make sure? Thanks for all your help!

Re: What do you guy\'s think? CK30

A BH can be pretty rough on a tractor and can break it in half or tear off parts of the rear end.

If Kioti recommends the 75 as the largest for the CK30, that is as large as I would go. If you want/need a bigger BH, I think you should seriously consider stepping up to the DK35/40 if Kioti suggests they are a good fit for the 85.

I would want a letter from Kioti (not the local dealership) saying that they will honor the warrenty on the CK30 if you install the 85, otherwise I would go up in tractor size to get the larger BH.

If you don't hear back from them within a reasonable amount of time, call them back. Sometimes things get pushed aside. Gerard

If you'll look at the CK30 on Kioti's site, you'll see that they only recommend the KB2365 and KB2375 for that model. If something breaks, the dealer's words have no weight. All warranties state that nothing is included in the warranty other than what is stated in that warranty. If the BH is not designed for that model, without written approval from Kioti/Daedong to use the larger BH, you'll be out of luck on warranty if the BH is the cause of damage to the tractor. Sure, the dealer may be able to get you taken care of, but then again, he may not, and you'd have nothing to stand on without written approval. John

Re: What do you guy\'s think? CK30

Kioti called back and stated if the backhoe caused the problem it will not be covered. What do you guy's think can tractor handle that hoe?

regards

Re: What do you guy\'s think? CK30

The problem is Kioti's answer is really vague.

You could be mowing, (not have the BH on) and the rear end come apart. Even though the BH was not attached they may say that it caused the rear end to come apart. /forums/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

I think you get what I'm saying.

I would go with the smaller BH.

Do I THINK it can handle the hoe? Yes. Would I put it on the tractor and take a chance on it voiding the warranty? NO. There are too many things that can happen, and a BH puts a lot of stress on a CUT. Even with a subframe, it'll make the tractor jump and dance at times. Go with the 2375 or step up to the DK35 and get the 2385. I imagine you'll be satisfied with the 2375/CK30 combo. John
